Deveci Han

Deveci Han is located in Edirne Province. The han was built in 15th century. The han had 31 rooms. The han turned into a prison in 1847. Used as a prison until 1949. The han is being used as a cultural center nowadays.

Sinop Fortress Prison

Sinop Fortress Prison (Turkish: Sinop Kale Cezaevi) was a state prison situated in the inside of the Sinop Fortress. It was one of the oldest prisons of Turkey. The prison was known as "The Alcatraz of Anatolia" once. The fortress was used as prison in 1568. The prison was officially opened in 1887 and closed in 1997. The prison was turned into a museum in 1999.
