Pergamon Ancient City

Pergamon or Pergamum was an ancient Greek city in Aeolis. Today, the main sites of ancient Pergamon are to the north and west of the modernn city of Bergama in Izmir Province, Turkey. The city was the capital of Kingdom of Pergamon during Hellenistic period, under the Attalid dynasty, 281 - 133 BC.

Pergamon is chosen for UNESCO World Heritage Site.
