Patara Ancient City

Patara is an ancient city located in the Kalkan, Kaş ditrict of Antakya Province, Turkey. It's a Lycian town and was the capital of Lycia. The city was founded on the 8th century BC. It was a flourishing maritime and commercial city on the south-west coast of Lycia.
