Gobeklitepe

Göbeklitepe is an archaeological site at athe top of a mountain  ridge in the Southeartern Anatolia Region of Turkey, northwest of the Şanlıurfa. Göbeklitepe is the most ancient cult structures community of the world.

The tell has a height of 15 m and is about 300m in diameter. It is approximately 760m above sea level.

The tell includes two phases of ritual use dating back to the 10th - 8th millenium BC.
