Temple of Apollo

Temple of Apollo (Turkish: Apollon Tapınağı) is located in the Didyma (Turkish: Didim) district of Aydın Province. The temple was built in 6th century BC. The original structure of the temple was ruined in 494 BC because of an earthquake. Alexander the Great started to reconstruct the temple but he couldn't finish it.
