The
Istanbul Archaeology Museums (Turkish:
İstanbul Arkeoloji Müzeleri) is a group of three archeological museums located in the Eminönü district of Istanbul. The

Archaeological Museum (in the main building),
Museum of the Ancient Orient and
Museum of Islamic Art (in the
Tiled Kiosk). The
museums houses over
one million objects that represent almost all of the eras and civilizations in world history and the museum is one of the biggest museums of the world. The museum was opened in
1891 and is the oldest
museum building of
Turkey.
