Derinkuyu Underground City

Derinkuyu Underground City (Turkish: Derinkuyu Yeraltı Şehri) is located in the Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir Province. This city is the biggest underground city in Turkey. The city opened to visiting in 1965. The city was probably built by Hattians (2500 - 1700 BC).  The city has a capacity of 10,000 people.
