Basilica Cistern

Basilica Cistern (Turkish: Yerebatan Sarnıcı, lit. Sunken Cistern or Yerebatan Sarayı, lit.Sunken Palace) is located in İstanbul Province. It is the largest cistern of Istanbul. The cistern was built in the 6th century during the reign of Byznatine Emperor Justinian I.
