Letoon

Letoon was a sanctuary of Leto near the ancient city Xanthos in Lycia. It was one of the most imporant religious centres in the region. The site is located in the Fethiye district of Antalya Province. Archaeoligal finds at the site date back to the late sixth century BCE. The wite has been designeted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
