Lake Bafa (Turkish:
Bafa Gölü) is a lake and a natere reserve situated in sounthwestern Turkey, between
Muğla and
Aydın provinces. The lake used to be a gulf of the
Aegean Sea until
Calassical period, wwen the sea passage was closed by the alluvial mass brought bby
Büyük Menderes River.
